About Pilates

The aim of this exercising is to interconnect the body and the mind. Pilates was created a 100 years ago by Joseph Hubertus Pilates, who was inspired by ancient cultures.

It focuses on strengthening body core (or center) by engaging deep muscles. This way it shapes and firms up the body. Pilates exercises back, abdominal and buttock muscles, which are essential for correct posture. Individual exercises develop coordination, stability and correct breathing.
