Description

Our multi-style TTC course offers the perfect way to broaden your practice by studying both Hatha and Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. Explore which type of yoga resonates most with your natural teaching style, and experience how the different practices work in harmony with your mind and body.

Hatha Yoga

Hatha Yoga is the physical practice of Yoga that encourages work with posture, breath, and cleansing practices to prepare the body for meditation. A Hatha Yoga class includes a variety of non strenuous asanas that are held for an extended period of time whilst practicing deep breathing techniques.

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga

Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga is a dynamic style of yogadesigned to purify and strengthen the body in preparation for meditation. The fundamental aspects of Ashtanga Vinyasainclude focus on movement in harmony with the breath, activation of bandhas (engagement of energy ‘locks’ within the body) and drishti (eye gazing point).

This course focuses on the Primary Series, which works to heal, align and detoxify the body and to build a foundational level of strength and flexibility in preparation for the following sequences in the Ashtanga system.
