Integrating Yoga for mind, body and soul

Yoga posture practice (asanas) – breathing exercises (pranayama) – relaxation and meditation

We will explore the body through breath, movement and asanas. By internalizing and becoming familiar with the breath one experiences how physical and emotional knots start to dissolve by themselves as one follows the body’s voice. The yoga posture practice will become a meditation in movement that eventually leads the practitioner to the static poses.

As it is important to keep a balance in between mental and physical practice, the last part of the class will be dedicated to get familiar with our inner world and to mental practices such as mantras, breathing exercises, visualizations and meditation.

The classes are aimed to reinforce the dialog in between body, heart and mind, and to learn how to distinguish the different voices that are moving us, and to surrender to what is as we open our heart to the eternal present moment. The result is a deep feeling of harmony and peace that we carry with us to our daily life.

The classes are held in English, with some helping instructions if needed in Czech.

The class is suitable for beginners and it will be held regularly.
Bring comfortable cloth and yoga mat. If you need you can bring a scarf for meditation to be warm.

Recommended price160 Kc. No one should stay out because of money, if you are in a difficult financial situation you can pay less. First lesson for free.

About the teacher: Carmen Rodriguez Hochstrasser

Driven by the wish to find answers to her existential doubts Carmen discovered yoga at the age of 16. Since then yoga become for her a journey of self discovery that opened her many doors towards personal growth and group work with other peoples. She investigated and practiced several physical methods of movement, anatomy and relaxation as well as meditation methods such as zen, vipassana, yoga nidra, kriya yoga and mindfullness process with the propose to understand the human being in an holistic way.
